ASME V ARTICLE 4 APPENDIX IX QUALIFICATION KIT 1

Flawspec’s ASME SECTION V Article 4 APPENDIX IX KIT 1 is manufactured in accordance with ASME Section V Article 4 Appendix IX Paragraph IX-435.1 and ASME SECTION V Article 4 paragraphs T-434.1.2, T-434.1.3, T-434.1.4, T-434.1.5, T-434.1.6 and T-434.1.7.

Material Type: Carbon Steel   

These kits are available in other material types and grades as required.

Flaws: 3 flaws per specimen randomly located – 12 total

Flaw Sizing Tolerance: +/- 0.5mm (0.020″) for height and +/- 1.0mm (0.040″) for length

Documentation Package: As-Built CAD Drawings, Blank Test Sheet Drawings, Certificate of Conformance and Material Test Reports (MTRs) for all fully traceable based materials and filler metals used.
