Custom ASME Basic Block

ASME Basic Blocks are manufactured in accordance with ASME Section V ARTICLE 4 Figure T-434.2.1 Non Piping Calibration Blocks (ASME Basic Blocks) requirements and also possess additional design features which enable them to be easily used for modern advanced PAUT and TOFD ultrasonic applications. Our custom designs can also enable dynamic calibration of multiple probes mounted in scanners.

Calibration notches, holes and other reflectors are induced by Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) or conventional machining methods as required.

ASME Basic Blocks are available in any thickness or alloy material and are also available with cladding or overlay.
